I decided to stop using the hotmail account that I have had for over 20 years because some emails don't make it through. I have a similar but slightly different issue. Mostly everyone here are users helping other users. I'm Non-Microsoft Staff, I don't work for Microsoft. I'm just a regular forum user like you too. I apologize for not delivering good news to you, as much as I'd like to help you but unfortunately, as fellow MS community users there's nothing much I could about it. Please also refer to point #6 on the Microsoft Services Agreement page at the following link. Microsoft doesn't recycle closed accounts to prevent hackers from abusing deleted email accounts. Once an email account has been permanently deleted, it won't be able to be reused again. As of August 30, 2019, Microsoft accounts will be closed after 2 years of inactivity. If the answer is yes, as a fellow Outlook forum user, I feel guilty to say this, unfortunately, If the users didn't access the Microsoft account within 2 years. Is there any chance you ahve not logged in to your account within the last 2 years?
